Cattle futures, whitewater land deals, commodity trading. Friends do pump and dump for them or they invest in groups and get allocated a larger share of the net assets values. Publishers advance them money for crappy books they did not write and “friend (some from nefarious agencies) buy them. Speaking fees for showing up and saying nothing. Brokering lucrative contracts in places like Haiti, Ukraine, the Middle East. Uranium deals. The list goes on.
someone had a really interesting comment on here yesterday about HRC's $100k cattle futures win. I will see if I can find it.
But basically, it was possibly an illegal donation to Bill, the governor, that was funneled through the stock broker with the appearance of a big payday from her investment. The broker can bundle multiple investments into one and then distribute the earnings "incorrectly" (as it should be a direct ratio to the amount of money each put in - but they can dump it to one person) as a way to launder money to someone.
I am old enough to remember when that scandal broke. That is how I recall the scam.
