When ocean conditions are rough, but not life-threatening, you might see a yellow flag on the beach. A yellow flag indicates potentially high surf or dangerous currents and undertows, and means that swimmers should exercise extreme caution.

maritime flag in plain yellow is the flag for the letter ‘Q’ On the beach it means “not great, but you probably won’t die” On a Trump tie it means “hold the line Anons, I’m still with you...and you’re gonna love how this movie ends”

If you were born and raised near Fl. Atlantic or Gulf Coast, it means get your surfboards ready. For the most part, it means caution before entering the water..
