I highly doubt the government will blackout the whole country if they even do a blackout at all! If it happens it’s most likely gonna be targeted areas. Just think of the mass panic that would ensure.

Yeah I don't know why some people assumed it was going to be the power grid, especially in winter when people will be at risk of freezing.

As much as I agree that it is more than likely a comms blackout that grid blackout, what in thr good Lord's name makes you think evil actually gives a shit about what time of year it is? I think they would bring the grid down w/o question during a blizzard if they could.
