Watching a story on Newsmax about a teenager named Trevor Till who committed suicide because of the covid lockdowns and utter lack of socialization.
This kid appeared to have everything going for him and yet he took his own life. His mother ran down the list of activities that Trevor did and the only thing that comes to mind is that this poor kid was so seriously over-scheduled that he never learned to be alone with his own thoughts.
Maybe rather than schedule our kids from sunrise to sunset, we focus more on teaching them to be alone with their thoughts. I see this in so many people who do not have this ability.
Yes we need each other but there are times that we need to learn to comfort ourselves or find our comfort in a higher power and yet where does one learn this ability?
A friend's teenage son killed himself a couple weeks ago. A friend's friend (vet) killed himself last year, was buried in Arlington Cemetery this weekend. We are losing a LOT of people to suicide. This insanity has to stop NOW.
If any private individual bought a lawsuit for manslaughter against mayors or governors, it would be a victory if it ever made it to court. How many hours of video speeches have there been of people saying shit like 'I am responsible which is why I made the difficult decision to lock down businesses' etc. Their guilt is already determined with public statements like this, many such cases.
Trevor Till's mother is doing just that. It should prove to be rather interesting. Such a sad situation courtesy of a bunch of crooked politicians.
