It's an interesting question. But I think you run into a big mess if you don't immediately adopt all of the current "Law", including those amendments.
If you throw away those amendments, then all laws established upon those amendments become unconstitutional. This would be too much upheaval. I don't know the legal terminology here, but we're basically way too far down this road.
But I think what might happen is a period of legislative stasis. Then a convention of states. And a new Constitution. The new Constitution - coming through that process - should result in something that is the original Constitution - minus anything that was reversed by amendment + plus new protections from corruption.
New anti-corruption law would be more likely to keep the term limit.
Funny thing is - If all the other checks and balances were being practiced we'd never need a term limit. Because accountability to the voters is the best way to limit the stay of public "servants".
And so once again - the Constitution is only truly valuable when it is practiced.
