It’s not unusual for them to fly over given my proximity to Camp Pendleton. Them circling the area is odd.
I’ve been here 11 years this is definitely abnormal. And loud.

I live nearby. I don't think much of it, but I have been watching a LOT of military craft flying low over my house lately.
I watched a blackhawk do 5 or 6 large loops over my neighborhood. I figured it was just getting more flight time in.

Are you sure they're Blackhawks? Pendleton is a Marine base, and Marines don't fly Blackhawks.
In other words, if they are Blackhawks, that would be slightly odder than if they were CH-53s or some other airframe the Marines use.
