Yeah I'd say they're just a novelty, if they had any metal value they'd sell for more + have markings for weight and purity.

Not sure TBH.... if anything it’s plated... but it’s more for the Nostalgia the Physical worth ... wife got them for me so I’ll have to... how’s that go... circle back on that for you . Ha
