What you will never understand is that personal experience of God, personal encounter with Jesus, does not occur in the mind let alone the brain. These are but mediating mechanisms and only translate the part of the experience for which a concept can be applied. And these translations are but a shadow of the experience. That’s why it is said “to one who knows, no words are necessary; to one who doesn’t know, no words will suffice.”
Whatever powerful forces you engage to manipulate brain waves and influence - even “control” thoughts, this is nothing more than playing with shadows.
