In a virtual meeting, somebody said they would have to circle back on a question. But just to clarify, I asked if the said they had to "circle back".

Someone just said it on a call I just hung up from. I had to literally bite my tongue to keep from saying anything about it.
Just happened two days ago at work zoom meeting....colleague said “circle back” three times.

I worked w corporate ppl in the west coast and Ive heard circle back when ppl don't know how to answer a question. It's not a Jen thing
I've worked with this same group of folks for 3 years now, first time I've heard it used by any of them. That doesn't mean much more than, that's my experience here.
Maybe she did popularize it. I'm not sure though I'll have to circle back on that
