I thought back to this the Congressional hearing where the ICE official had to explain to AOC what the issue is with "illegal" immigration.

I brought this up to a progressive friend and he explained, "well, some people have it so terribly, so they can come in illegally before others who are trying to come in legally."

Same person complains when other people are GIVEN opportunities ahead of him or that everyone gets paid similarly despite doing less work. ???
