I could never understand how people turned against each other back then. But after seeing the brainwashed mask nazis this past year I know exactly how it happened. And how it could happen again so easily it’s frightening.
Unless people are taught were we've been, they can't see where we are going sometimes. Yeah people know of of these events but the why and how it happened isn't talked about enough in my opinion.
There’s a bakery my husband goes to for coffee in the morning. A few months ago the owner told him that she was there in the store by herself and there weren’t any customers inside so she pulled her mask down. And apparently someone looked in the window, saw her mask down, called the police, and the owner received a $1500 fine. Now that person who called the police is definitely someone who would turn a neighbor in to the nazis.
Crazy isn't it , California has had clean air days where you can't use a fireplace or BBQ and that same kinda thing was happening. People would turn people in if they saw smoke. What kinda of freedom is that when they tell you when and how you can keep yourself warm or cook your meals. Many didn't even question it
The Wave is a made-for-TV movie directed by Alex Grasshoff, based on The Third Wave experiment put on by teacher Ron Jones in order to explain to his students how the German populace could accept the actions of the Nazi regime during the Second World War. Though later featured as an episode of the ABC Afterschool Special series, this show debuted October 4, 1981, almost two years before being featured in the series.
The 'story' of what happened is different than what actually happened. One example is the conflicting information regarding nuclear weapons and their impact. Do they render land uninhabitable for decades or hundreds of years or not? Hiroshima and Nagasaki were rebuilt and repopulated very quickly. Questioning certain events about WW2 will earn the label of bigot or worse, and is even illegal in places like Germany. Why? Why was the Smith-Mundt act of 1948, which outlawed propaganda by the media/state 'here' repealed by Obummer in 2012? Are events in the media authentic or something else? Trump has stated that the media is one of the biggest threats. This has been going on for a long, long time.
