Parler was hosted on amazon servers. Due to muh WhiTe SuPcRemAcy QANon ConsPiRaCy CuLT (basic conservative opinions) amazon threatened to pull off the servers. Parler board wanted their own servers to fight big tech and not be dependent on amazon. CEO however wanted to bend the knee so the board terminated him.
