She's probably thinking that her life is over once the Treason is proven. I feel bad for her that she chose the WRONG man to love and marry. It's a shame that he is her downfall as well.

No, I'm sure she was in on it. Most likely coerced into their way of thinking. She WAS probably innocent in the beginning, but she had to adjust to their way of doing things.
