What do the Democrats have to gain from this? Trump is already out of office.... they are only making him MORE popular.
If they win and impeach him, they don't gain anything.... if they lose, they look ridiculous and weak. The cost analysis of this just doesn't make any sense.
This leads me to believe there is a lot going on behind the scenes. I just can't make sense of this. They have way more to lose than they have to gain, especially because I don't believe they will have the votes. I do not get this.
I have a feeling Trump somehow forced this Impeachment to occur behind the scenes to create a stage for evidence to be brought forward legally. The optics for him would be perfect. I believe he may have total control over Pelosi at this point, if she was the one responsible for bringing the impeachment forward. I believe we do have total control over it but the rest of the Dems have no clue and think they’re running the show.
