They would absolutely be fractured and fight amongst themselves. The ones who fracture will immediately be joined by state militias, volunteers, former military, etc.

It cant happen until they disarm the general population.

Agree. Thing is, these bastards believe in a thousand cuts; they are pushing legislation to make it easier for "authorities" to enter private property and seize weapons if they "think" people are in jeopardy. Pry them from my cold dead fingers!
