I don’t know if this angle has been addressed. If convicted, that could be the motivation for the Impeachment to keep Trump from the office even if he was the true winner.

You’re not getting the question. The question of the rigged election has at this moment not gone through all the courts yet. When and if it does, Trump could win in the courts and still be declared the true winner. Had he just now been convicted in the Impeachment would that conviction have kept Trump from what he may in the future, legally won? If this scenario played out in the future could this be the motivation for the left to go after Trump to make him ineligible to be in office and to take his rightful place. Not just in a future election. This could have been a way for them to protect Biden and keeping him as President and the true motive of the left.
100% possible! 2 birds one stone scenrio!
WTF?
That didn't happen. There zero reason to discuss or even contemplate it.
Not true. The election has still not gone through the courts and been settled. We are winning more cases as it works its way up. I’m not contemplating it, I’m asking if the Impeachment was the motivation and designed to keep Trump from taking his rightful place because of the lefts fear that Trump would win in the courts.
I understand your question and yes that’s precisely why they wanted to convict.
IMHO... scotus must make a decision on whether the states in question have not applied the constitutional electoral laws. If proven that the States have indeed bypassed the Constitution Powell and Wood would then need to use that verdict at a state level. Meaning that they will have to fill a suit to overturn the result in each state. But the military is watching and maybe this is what they'll need to react in a certain way. It's not over yet in AZ, WI and Michigan... Keep the faith!
This is what we are all hoping for. Thanks for your comment.
