He's a fence sitter but he's a journalist, he's supposed to be. A journalist is different from a political pundit.
I'm not a journalist, but I used to work with them. A lot of them do just spend all their time sitting on their ass looking at feeds, and talking to people on the phone; he just publishes it himself instead of getting a boss to do it for him.
I think the future could do with more fence sitting journalists, investigative journalists, and less political pundits telling people what their opinions should be.
That said, he's dug himself into a hole by wearing that beanie all the time; we all know the truth.
Someone like Andy Ngo throws himself into ground zero, at times at a very real peril, almost akin to the journalists of old. There is a conviction there to get to the truth, even at risk to himself.
Someone like Tim Pool is not a journalist in any sense and does the word a disservice more than has already been applied to it by MSM. It takes no fortitude to sit back and pick the bones of those who do take real action.
If someone is sitting in a fucking racing chair with headphones on, a journalist they are not.
This is exactly my problem with him right now. At one point he did good work, now he’s ignorant at best. Why would I watch him when I continue to be better informed than he is. Go fishing Tim down by the river Tim, it’s time.
I did reply to him a few times and then came to the understanding that he is WILLFULLY ignorant. "Ever learning but never able to come to an understanding of the truth." So what he does is twist the truth for click bait. And I believe he voted for Biden regardless of his declarations contrary.
I know we have the image in our minds of the investigative journalist with a press pass tucked into his cap trying to get the big scoop, but that's a fraction of all journalism that was ever published.
Most journalists are people sitting in an office collating information.
You might not see a huge left or right spin, but Tim delivers the pussy spin. He spins weakness, indecisiveness, and domestication into the news of the day. The outrage is impotent, the consequences are resigned unto, and by God, it's okay to be a minimally-educated passive-aggressive beta in these trying times - it can even bring you fame and wealth. Tim is a slimy estrogen-based kind of toxic.
If you're a journalist at a media outlet, your boss will be a publisher, and will be responsible for publishing your work. If you're self-publishing, you're your own publisher.
I don't get the Tim Pool hate.

Thank you! Exact.

That's literally what most journalists do though.

Agreed, sometimes it’s nice to get middle of the road journalism that’s somewhat fair and balanced

Him not reporting on the news today should be enough to see why
