Have an honest question about the military

I wonder how things are able to play out with the Biden administration vetting military generals etc changing guards, making sure they're part of "his team". We've seen the changes and I am confused on this part. How do things happen, will things happen under these circumstances? Sorry about my ignorance here.

They follow orders orders. That’s it. I asked a marine yesterday when he was going to take back DC... he said he has to follow the constitution... clueless.
