The state's appeal to the verdict last Tuesday where curfew was declared illegal was heard today. The state made a very weak case and did not manage to refute almost any of the points that he plaintiffs made.

Court judges stated that they will give their verdict in a weeks time. [Friday February 26 at 10:00 GMT +1]

Meanwhile the state has been scrambling to refit their curfew legislation by passing it through the house and the sentate. The senate passed this legislation mere hours ago. Notably, a proposed amendment to limit curfew to night time only and absolutely restrict daytime usage of this measure was denied.

It is currently unclear what will happen to this new legislation if the court rules in favor of the plaintiffs since the initial ruling focussed on the way the curfew was instated.

(Interesting sidenote, the state media was the only news source allowed to cover and live stream this trial and notably cut their feed when the plaintiffs were mentioning drugs like hcq, ivermectin etc, as well as mentioning the lack of effectiveness of curefews in different countries. The state media does not want the citizen to see the truth. They also did not come close to mentioning all the points listed by the plaintiffs during the 8 PM news)
