I work at boeing, the main bird used as AF1 is under maintence in San Antonio alongside the new ones boeing is building. Use this how you will, don't take the absence of the main bird as something. Focus on the wierd damaged vehicle biden showed up in.

They always do major upgrades on AF1 between administrations

good time for debug phase / upgrades. Not a lot of travel usually happens in the start of a admin.
