You are all misreading this. I love Alex Jones, but he's wrong about this. Texas DID NOT reduce capacity in order to comply with the EPA. It instead waived the EPA limits because of the crisis.

because gas lines and wind turbines froze. they were not designed and built to withstand such temperatures, which was a huge mistake. it's really not that complicated
