that's not actually his twitter account, it's some guy who just quotes his sayings. above is the link to the interview from 10/2020.
Thank you for posting so that we could read that interview! My goodness, hit me to the core, absolutely refreshing is an understatement. I haven’t been to my church for awhile. Now this is not to bash the church. But I’m being honest and genuine in what my heart is seeing. I’ve reached out maybe could have done more. But there is a silence and an unspoken language that’s not to be touched on. This is local community as leaders and members of the church body. I’m very open and take the word literal, we are family. I’ve tried to engage touching on the happenings in our country/world as it’s important with timelines of the Bible.and historically. But I’ve noticed this once I became a believer which flags were raised up, from within my spirit. Thats never stopped me from genuinely speaking from my heart which creates an atmosphere for others to feel comfortable openly/transparent to share. As a body for Christ if our leaders for whatever reasons, say “political”, which is hog wash because these are the very core issues of the problems we’re having as a whole. We have a tendency to follow the lead of our pastors n elders and it has a trickle down effect to the body. Again I’m not saying all this to be disrespectful to any one church. But this is a major red flag ? the enemy is a subtle foe, where there is lack and uncertainty creates confusion, unaware, fear the great invincible enemy that lingers in the dark unwittingly. The common answers I’ve received is, take it to God and pray! Well of course and no I’m not in fear at all. And of course I do not respond in that way. Or there’s silence, along with, I pay no attention to the political drama! This is way far past some political matters this has been a slow fade now rearing it’s ugly head at our door! I’m still trying to figure out along with praying about it but to just email my pastor and just be real and transparent. I almost want to attach this interview with it because it was truth of what’s happening and exactly what I’ve been noticing and so desperately want to be open about it. And not to send it to say “see wake up”. Even though I do feel that way I don’t want to come off hottie about it or point the finger..But I cannot go to a church where we’re ignoring and deceiving ourselves of what’s happening here, mean while praying for other countries governments that are corrupt!!! I apologize for getting so deep but I really needed to get that out. I will not live in fear and I will not lie to myself or ignore what’s happening because it’s uncomfortable or live in a box ? and be close minded. I trust God completely. In a way I’m glad we are where we’re at when the pressure is on, it usually causes a movement! God bless
Modern churches tend to be local political entities that tell you what you should or shouldn't say by giving lines about God being above politics, but "politics" is downstream from culture and we are seeing the failure of the church as a whole in what we are awakening to.
I personally believe the more accurate kind of church is a home church with families and rotating teachers like the early church, but not everyone has that opportunity. We have to stand up to what's happening in our churches, even if it's uncomfortable. Luther did this and was persecuted, but he was right to question the church. I think a lot of Catholics would agree that the church at that time had severe issues.
Marxists have taken over Sunday school and soulless politicians masquerade as "pastors". If we think none of this can happen in your church, we must think again. Evil is a slow drip and church is the hardest place to wake up to the evil among us because of centuries-old facades and tropes that religion, not God, has built up.
? thank you for your response
