Is it commonplace for people to ask for money on this site? Someone just asked me to send money to their paypal because they were fired from a job. Obviously I'm not sending any money. Just wondered.

Yeah, that was what I was wondering, so I clicked on their profile. No posts, no comments, been on site 200+ days, very high post and comment scores though.
