Planes didn’t hit the buildings...drones did. We had drone technology in the 1960’s fly above Mach 3. I’m sure it was a bit better 41 years after that in 2001.

I just read about that one, that is new to me. I pilot flys in, jumps out and it is radio controlled to a target?...

I was referring to the D-21.

I THINK so but not sure. IIRC one of the Kennedy brothers was killed in development of the B-17.
