Does anyone have a guess as to why there are national guard troops still in DC?

I have been thinking that the plan to save American might just involve those NG troops in DC and the troops just aren't being told that as to keep the enemy from knowing. What are your thoughts on this?

This would be the answer that would be bad for us, as it means deep state is in control. Sad to say it does make a bit of sense. But since Trump initially ordered the NG there, you'd have to say Trump was compromised also. Praying this isn't the case.
