Is there a way to stop the page from refreshing when hitting back after reading a post? I usually go down hot all in one shot, but if I click in a post to read comments, and then hit back, the page gets all reorganized. It would be nice to maybe cache the post order or something so if you hit back it’s not all out of order. (Technically it’s in order but I mean the order as it was on the page)

Cant ya open a post in a new tab then close it and go back to the other tab?
Thats how I do it.
Just upvote everything. Only takes a millisecond and makes it obvious what you've seen already.
There’s a back button?!? I’m on an iPad and have to keep clicking “NEW” to see the latest post and scroll down to where I was last at! Thank goodness the print changes color, so I can see the last post I read!
I’m reading my iPad (in bed) now and sometimes I accidentally click the link instead of hitting the “ and my place is lost. This is a very active forum even this late at night.
Edit: also I’m a programmer and wouldn’t be very hard to implement in a cookie or something. Just post number order
This is a browser setting issue; the site has no control over this sort of refresh behavior.
This is only a problem for me if I'm using my phone. It would be great to not have to hit "new" every time and find my place.
Right click>Open link in new tab Read Close new tab Scroll to next selected post Repeat
No. I have had this problem with the internet since it started. There is no "undo" refresh button. [I agree there should be] Understand when you leave a page your computer organized, that your computer will re organize it again upon your return.
That’s why I updoot all posts; it reminds me what I have read and what I have not
You can go into settings and click open new tab. It’s a little annoying to get use to but you never lose your place.
