My first guess is that it is not a KC-135. It is transponding as one!
Possibly a SAM flight or Nightwatch or ???
So...this is a bit curious. Prior to a few days ago, the last time this plane squawked was 1/20. You know, inauguration day. Weird.
Nice catch! No one's generally paying all those refueling AC any mind.
Would be the perfect cover short of not transponding at all.
