I don’t think it’s him cutting them off. He seems to want to answer questions since he keeps offering it. It’s the rest of his team that knows they can’t have him talking.

Especially when he said "now I'll take some questions if that's what I'm supposed to do." They cut it off before he could make even more of a fool of himself.
