I was in DC back around 2012/2013 and got to see Obama’s motorcade. Total there were probably 50 vehicles and he also had a plainly marked city ambulance and the black ambulance seen in the motorcade video.

Quick summary. A fairly large motorcade left the Whitehouse with a few marine helicopters circling above.
Not mentioned by the poster, but what I found most interesting, was there two ambulances within this long motorcade of limos and vans.

I think its not uncommon for an ambulance to travel with the {P}Residential motorcade.
