He always uses "God bless our troops" like we're at war. Or maybe its a form of pandering to the vets for their vote/support.

^just wanted to add I didn't watch the speech. I don't know what he said tonight. I just wanted to point out it seems like he uses 'god bless our troops' more than 'god bless america'
