I've seen someone say that the change to his/the ears is a sign of having a facelift. I can't say if that's true or not. That being said, when viewing the man he used to be and viewing the resident now - he's clearly not the same person either through mental decline or having been replaced by someone else entirely imo.

if thats from a facelift, the surgeon did a terrible job, uglier than the first pics and older looking
See my long comment with graphic of procedure in this thread. It isn't enough just to have the good hand skills, some artistic sense is necessary too.
No you hide scars in hair lines or under the chin behind the neck..never inside a plain sight visual range.
