It's called a sonic boom. Military jets aren't supposed to break the sound barrier over populated areas. Someone fucked up. We use to get them out in the country all the time.

No way buddy, I felt that shake myself and I’m familiar with jets. It was in no way a sonic boom. I’m also about 30 miles away from others who felt it.
