I guess I'm just a bit slow, so please help me. The segregation of the 40's and 50's was immoral - separate schools, eating facilities, neighborhoods. But the segregation of today is righteous - separate facilities on college campuses for any identified group Black Student Union, Hispanic Student Union, etc), mandated ethnic food service with segregated dining facilities in many institutions, self segregation to live in cloistered neighborhoods. Maybe I'm just a simple fellow, but it looks to me like we've reinvented the past we claim to hate.
