They made changes (like exempting the first $10,200 of unemployment comp from tax) that now have to be implemented by tax preparers in the MIDDLE of tax season. They just created another gov't cluster F!
Tax preparers are still waiting on "guidance" from the IRS regarding these changes. I'm surprised they didn't extend it 3 months like they did last year!
Now early filers will have to file Amended Tax Returns if they are impacted by the changes.
Seems like a good argument for the flat tax.
