Great observation. It's worth noting that St Michael's name is literally translated to the phrase "who is like God?" When the father of lies tried to act as God by usurping natural law (much like the communists), St Michael cast him into hell by using the sword of truth in the form of that statement. Strength and zeal driven by a great love of God, i.e. Jesus, the Word, the logos (root word for logic), the Truth, is going to lead us out of this. But the light of truth will not be comprehended by those who love themselves more than God, who love their own misguided feelings more than their reason.
