I was trying to enlighten some friends the other day with this same statement. Their first claim was Trump had plenty of shootings aka mass shootings. I asked them to show me other than a Democrat managed city. The couldn’t answer scoffed. I then mentioned it is weird that these shootings come up as the dem backed gun bill is stalling. They again scoffed. I then mention the boarder issues and they scream Trump caused it. I had to bite the tongue and mention maybe these shootings are diverting attention. Then I launched into the boarder walls etc. anyway, they don’t want to see it
