I see a lot of people in this community losing hope, and I just want to tell you this is a good thing because it allows us to understand faith. Hope is just the counterpart of fear. Fear is the desire that something which is would not be. Hope is the desire that something which is not would be. Hope like fear is affected by doubts. Faith is beyond hope and fear. It is the trust that we put in life or in God. We don't have a guarantee about faith, like we don't have a guarantee that a friend we trust would never betray us. It is something that we give to the universe, without any insurance. That's why my friends we should grow up, give up hope and embrace faith.

False. Hope works against faith. I don't hope I'm going to heaven, I know I am. God doesn't want your hope, because that means you don't have faith in him.
hope is what you use when the plans of man are in motion. faith is what you fall back on when you realize men may fail, but God is in control.
I'm done falling back on faith. Faith isn't a good pillow anyhow. I'm standing with faith in Jesus and moving forward with him.
