The military has been a social lever for 200 years. We used the military to integrate Irish, used military command to integrate blacks and enforce Civil rights laws and recently the whole feminization of the military and acceptance (celebration?) and subsidization of degenerates The military is no longer the historic "right of passage"into manhood.
The leadership purge has been happening since Carter. Combined with the accession of youth from a corrupt society and the indoctrination of our young leaders in leftist colleges and universities, our military has lost its focus. As a retired Army guy, I mourn for the sickness that I see.

This is so painfully true. I've witnessed way more left-leaning officers active/retired than I had expected earlier. The conservative stance prevails overall, but it's puzzling and a bit unnerving the arguments I was getting into with buddies on social media who were trying to rationalize Dems and Biden and vilify Trump in any way.
