Yep In my county in CA, the sheriffs said they would not enforce anything Newsom said, and the county board of supervisors said they were revoking mask mandates. Newsom promptly began importing infected Mexicans across the border - literally flying them into the US, flooding our hospitals with infected people. The board of supervisors caved, but the sheriffs never did.
