Dad and I were talking on the way home and he thinks that Biden's mileage tax to fund his infrastructure bill which will undoubtedly be very unpopular and lead to a massive number of Americans rebelling and even lead to talks among state governments about secession. I do think if this did happen, Texas would be the first to leave the union for sure as they have been leading the charge against a number of Biden's unconstitutional executive orders and policies such as his immigration policy. What do y'all think the chances of us seeing many states leaving the union are once Biden does impose his mileage tax?

Just so everyone is clear, the program would use your cars gps to track tour milage ( and your every trip in your car)
In my state, when the car is inspected each year, they get the mileage. That's what they'd have to do with this tax, as my car doesn't have GPS. I don't carry a cellphone/tracking device either.
Yep. They'll have to have to do math they say is "racist" to calculate the number of miles driven.
Or just assign you an approximate amount.
