Cures is the word he was saying but listen to the way he times the wording. I'm probably a bit schizophrenic but it jumped out at me.

I think he was exaggerating the word "cures". It definitely sounded more like Q'ers, but I'm not sure if the overemphasis was intentional or just a quirk.
