After watching the whole doc, I agree. The filmmaker catches Ron in multiple lies throughout the doc, accidentally admitting as much.
It was a power grab. The Q account was taken over by Ron (and funded by his dad) in 2018 because it was their #1 cash cow on 8kun. Ron posted, because he had the technical ability and access, and Jim kept the lights on with funding. Anecdotally, in the doc, you can see that Ron is a bad liar and either gets caught in a lie or will twitch/cough/blink and talk around the subject of Q to passively take credit for it.
EDIT: I'm seeing multiple downvotes and now I'm wondering, did any of you actually watch the WHOLE doc? Please tell me how you can watch the final episodes and not come to this conclusion.
The guy spent multiple years with the owners of 8chan, it's incredibly revealing access that no one else has ever been able to get (because the owners decline most interviews). Also, if you're a "free thinker", you wouldn't just dismiss it without understanding what it was first.

The board was infiltrated by DIA, DOD.
Cool, did you watch the doc? Please tell me how you arrived at that conclusion.
Why would I waste my time on some normie propaganda?
