I just got back from a grocery trip to H-E-B. Since I live in Austin, it's the only place that I can still go to shop without a mask. I used to do all of my shopping at Sprouts, since it's closest to my house, but then they started having employees chase me down to give me a mask to wear, else I be kicked from the store.
If the salty faggots on the Austin subreddit are to be believed, then the reason that H-E-B doesn't enforce their stated mask policy is because they had some incidents of customers becoming violent when confronted to put on a mask. So it became store policy to ignore maskless individuals as a matter of team safety or something.
I have never once been forced to defend or justify my choice to not wear a mask inside H-E-B. Some of the employees are even still quite helpful. And so I say, THANK YOU to the warriors of freedom who came before me, for allowing me to live my life in peace.
Having success with Michaels, Marshall’s, and Target
Mask free in Washington State everywhere I go. Told a store attendant why the other day and she removed hers. She now always sports it under her chin.
I also live in WA state. Everyone still requires a mask. Just shopped at Fred Meyer (Kroger) today, no mask. Nobody said a thing. From there went to Big 5 Sports, refused to wear a mask. Told the lady I had CS (common sense), but she didn't ask so I didn't tell her what it meant. She then did my shopping for me while I waited outside. I thought that was awesome!
Great to hear! In all of my shopping trips only one rude comment. Everyone else smiles, says Hi, shakes my hand etc. I think most people are craving to see people stand up against this and wish they were brave enough. WWG1WGA!
Speaking of Austin. Don’t forget to show up and vote against adler’s power grab and homeless camping on May 1st. #saveaustin baby
CVS, in my very small town, are still listening to big brother, travel 1/4 of a mile & walk into the privately owned pharmacy instead - no masks.
