I've been saying for years now that politicians should only be allowed donations from citizens legally capable of voting for said politician.

No unions, no corporations, no Koch Bros. , no George Soros, no super PAC's.

They will just funnel money from one "charity" to another as has been the case for decades, unchecked. As long as the laws in place are not upheld, and they are indeed not upheld, adding new laws does absoultely nothing.
