Figured I’d probably write about some good things happening at my job (in suburban Georgia of all places). Despite my employer mandating masks for employees, and some mind-numbing “logic” to use as a shield against civil discussion, more and more customers are waking up to the crumbling narrative. About 95% of our regulars (mainly the hipster type) didn’t have a mask on, and they’re even boycotting Woka-Cola’s lame FreeStyle machine. We’ve had more people buy our teas or just get water. Mobile orders are lower now as well. Not even the cops wear masks anymore, but I did notice they had one stuffed into their vests. It felt so good to see the bottom half of someone’s face.

Things can be rough here in IOWA, My best friend doesn't like masks but today we were looking for a pressure washer part and he suggested MENARD'S. My response was fkk those Godless Commies they require a mask, He got pissed at me and said fine I will go in myself. I replied WTF why are you getting mad at me for claiming sovereignty and my God-given rights? He cooled his jets and we went to a different store, II will NOT back down from my beliefs. I hate that I need to make a stand even among friends.
The masks and especially vaccines are just another way to divide us. I have a friend who lost her husband last year. Doc couldn't keep his original stress test appointment in April because of the Rona. Died of heart failure in July. Anyhoo, she is going through a rough time and now 3/4 of her friends are telling her that they won't see her if she doesn't get the vaccine, which she doesn't want. Normally I would say, "buck up and forget about them, they are not really your friends." But she is very lonely and vulnerable still. I am so sick of this thing.
