Hey everybody I'm trying to figure out my next moves and I need some advice. I'm a college student studying political science (yah yah I know) at a university in SC. My professors seem to be good at not interjecting their personal opinions on class topics but there's this one dude who just can't help himself. Lately he's been urging me to get vaxed... I have no problem with vaccines in general, but I, like many of you, am very opposed to the idea of taking the advice of every major corp, politician, and person I can't stand in general and getting vaccinated. Then there's Trump. As I understand it he went on Gorka yesterday and defended the J&J vax strongly. And as Q has noted, not all vaccines are bad. I'm just struggling to rationalize why Trump would defend the J&J vax if it is truly harmful. I'm on the fence about taking the J&J when/if it becomes available. Am I flawed in my thinking? Just trying to find my way in all this mess. Thanks for any advice.

Why would you take any vaxx for a 99.6% survivable virus? That's how I look at it. And don't let your Professors tell you what to do with your own body.
