Ugh, those twitter replies. I was beaten and raped for years and people got mad at me like I was crazy when I talked about it. Or nobody cares. When horrific things happen, nobody really cares or believes it in this world... Maybe that's why these things were allowed to happen practically in the open for so, so long.

I'm so sorry you had to experience that. I'm glad you're alive and safe and with us here.

But it's weird, people are so hesitant to confront evil in the world, and so hesitant to examine themselves, that it's like they put up this giant defensive wall, and any shred of truth that makes it past the wall is immediately attacked like cells attacking a virus.
