They think by writing this they'll discredit Jim Caviezel. What it will do is make MORE people search for and find out the truth.

Is something really a "fringe theory" when generals, respected attorneys, businessmen, and others successful in their career fields openly and publicly talk about it? It's not like it's some dude in a tin foil hat holding up a cardboard sign in Times Square. Where there's smoke there's fire.
