Calling a shot a "jab" seems to be popular now but I refuse to use it. Too British for me. What's next? Getting on a "lift" to retrieve something from the "boot" of your car? Nossir, i don't like it.

i am a brit and i use it because it is a horrible word and describes exactly the whole ethos of what is being done...they are not vaccines..they are experimental gene therapy

I agree that it's a horrible word and that this shot is not actually a vaccine. I just keep seeing the term "jab" used in American media and I'm pretty sure it's a British term. Seems odd to me.
