We went this weekend for the second time and there is a clear distinction between who cared about masks, and who didn't.
Young? Nope. Hispanic? Probably not even wearing it properly. Black? Gives no fucks. Older than 30? Still no fucks.
It was like, as long as no one said a word, it was in the clear, and the only ones who said anything were gender-queer staff members. I am not surprised, but disappointed. Definitely the woke will be the last to wake up.
Wife and I went grocery shopping yesterday and had our own Declaration of independence by not wearing a mask in the store. I also noticed about one third of the shoppers also didn't have masks. No one challenged us at all, even in the check out lane. This was in east Tennessee and people here are beginning to revolt. I attended a gun show a month or so ago, and NO masks anywhere. God's country.
Our grocery stores are still 90% or more with masks, Fleet Farm is about 30% maskless but seems to increase each visit.
Ours at about 70-80% compliance. I feel like such a rebel sometimes.
